Mermaid in Blue
I was looking for a spot to paint in the 2018 Tarpon Springs Paint and Photo competition. The minute I saw the lady nestled among the rocks reading a book I knew I had my spot and main focus of the painting. Painted en plein air at Fred Howard Park Beach. When i started this painting I was on dry land.. By the end of the painting the tide rolled in and my tripod and and I were knee-deep in water.
